Over the past three years, Discover has embraced a structure organized around products. Before, groups of engineers were formed to tackle important assignments, only to disband when projects ended. Now the focus is on developing products. Smaller teams are dedicated to building and enhancing products, gaining expertise over time, and sharing out what they’ve learned.
